Rajdevi Temple Lahan

Rajdevi Temple is one of the famous Hindu religious temple  in Eastern region of Country Nepal. This temple is one of the major visiting  place  for Nepali and Indian pilgrims. People mostly use to come here in Bada Dashain and Buddha Purnima.

As per the Hindu culture Rajdevi is also considered as the devi of Destiny . More than hundreds  of visitors and local people  comes to the temple every day.  The temple represents great historical, cultural and religious significance on Siraha district

On the day of  Buddha Jayanti more than thousands of animals  and flows  are sacrificed in  this temple. Visitors from the different part of Neppal as well as from India come to this Temple each year to offer the sacrifice to the Goddess Rajdevi. People also believe that if they sacrifice they will be blessed by  the Rajdevi with health wealth and peace in their life. The temple is  located  in  area of more than one bigaha area in the middle of a forest. After Bara’s Gadhimai, Rajdevi temple is considered as the second in terms of animal sacrifice. Each year laakhs of people visits this place .

How to reach: It is around 7 kilometers drive from East-West highway of Lahan. There are two ways to reach this place one is by flight and another is by drive. You can also  use the public reserved or private vehicles to visit this area.

Those travelling to this place there are many hotels in Lahan and other accommodation options.

Sight seeings: There are many places you can visit and enjoy in this area. Some of the famous places of this area are the famous Balan River, you can enjoy the beautiful  view of Salahesh Fulbari, Lahan bazar itself can be the choice of your visit The eye catching scene of khuttikhola and many more.
