OshoTapoban is an international Osho commune which is situated at Nagarjun hills, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is at a distance of 5 km from the Balaju and 14 Km 5 km from the Balaju and 14 km from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. It lies inside Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park.
This name is kept after the Indian speak person and founder of the Rajneesh movement, Chandra Mohan Jain, who is also known as Osho Rajneesh or only Osho who believed in combined elements of many religions and introduced a different kind of meditation, and Tapoban means a place of mediation.
So, OshoTapoban is an international commune which is situated in the green and lush Nagarjun forest beside Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park that offers various courses on mediation, therapies, yoga which was introduced by Osho.

More than 200-1200 peoples from more than 80 countries visit this place daily and peoples from different parts of the country as the place is very peaceful, silent and very wonderful to explore. Lots of youngsters are attracted to this place.
Why peoples visit this place?
OshoTapoban is a spiritual place where tourists from different countries as well as different parts of the country visit here. People come here for a short visit to explore nature, peace, and different flora and fauna. They take part in various meditation, yoga, and activities and explore themselves. There are some places to explore like:
Rajneesh Dhyan Mandir: It is an amazingly designed meditation hall which is located in the center of Tapoban. This hall has space for 200 people for regular meditationand is designed in Pagoda style and daily meditation activities take place here.
Sculpture garden: This is an amazing garden that consists of beautiful and valuable statues of Buddha, Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, and many more.
Flora and Fauna: Different varieties of flora and wildlife like deer, leopards, beer, and different varieties of birds are spotted here. There is a mesmerizing waterfall over here.
Dev Teertha book center and Nagarjuna Gift center: The library consists of a wide variety of books, audio collections, videotapes of Osho. The gift shops have a wide range of beautiful books, videotapes, gowns for sale.
Shivapuri Baba silence Temple: This a beautifully constructed temple that consists of a mesmerizing white statue of Shivapuri Baba, which is available for silent sitting for meditators.
Daily activities:
There are various activities conducted throughout the year ranging from daily meditation to weekly Satsang, some transformation camps, and celebrations.
Daily meditation: It has one hour of yoga and six sessions of mediation throughout the day. On every Saturday satsang program is organized from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Weekend meditation camp: This camp is organized every week for two nights which starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday morning. This camp is very good for those who wants to meditate but don’t have enough time.
7-days transformation meditation camp: This camp is organized for beginners, which is coordinated by swami Anand Arun Acharya and it is organized on 7 to 14 of every month except October and November.
21-days intensive transformation meditation: These mediation packages are organized to balance the mind, body, and soul. First-week they organize Suddhi to detoxify the body and mind, second-week Sadhana for inner transformation, and third-week shunyata for inner silence.
Celebrations: Special programs are organized on the day like guru Purnima, Osho birthday celebrations, Tapoban established day, and other special occasions.
This is the perfect place to explore and for yoga and meditation as it is on the outskirt of the valley and is a very peaceful place to attain and maintain peace between your mind, body, and soul.
