Langtangcircuit trek a combined trek of three different treks i.e. Langtang valley trek, Gosainkunda Trek, and Helambu trek with amazing views of the Himalayan, pure and calm lakes, villages, lovable and adoring peoples, specially vivid and delightful environment with varieties of flora and fauna.
Langtang circuit trek is the nearest trek from Kathmandu valley. It falls on the Langtang region which falls under Rasuwa district, Bagmati Zone of northern Nepal. The Langtang region elevation range is about 6450 m and is located in the area of three districts via Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Sindhupalchwok.
Itinerary:
The trip is started by road from the Kathmandu valley to Syabrubesi and from there trekking is started. The trek starts from Syabrubesi heading towards the Lama Hotel then Langtang village to KyanjinGompa and then visit TserkoRi along with the mesmerizing view of a snowy mountain, and glaciers.
Then moving back to Lama hotel and again heading towards ThuloSyabru then to Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda then ghopte. From there we head towards Kutumsang then towards Chisapni to Sundarijal and finally Kathmandu.
The trek is for nearly 16 days. Here a sample of an itinerary is given below:
Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
Day 2: Explore Kathmandu valley and getting ready for the trek
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to SybruBesi (1505 m). Total duration: 8-9 hours
Day 4: Trek from SyabruBesi to Lama Hotel, Changdam village (2420 m). Total duration: 8 hours
Day 5: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtangvillage (3540 m). Total duration: 7-8 hours
Day 6: Trek from Langtang village to KyanjinGompa (3835 m). Total duration: 5-6 hours
Day 7: Trip to TserkoRi (4990m) and return to KyanjinGompa.
Day 8: Return from kanjinGompa back to Lama Hotel. Total duration: 8-9 hours
Day 9: Trek down from Lama Hotel to ThuloSyabru (2220 m). Total duration: 7-8 hours
Day 10: Trek from ThuloSyabru to Sing Gompa, Chandabari (3335 m). Total duration: 6-7 hours
Day 11: Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda, the holy lake (3490 m).Total duration: 7-8 hours
Day 12: Trek from Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3550 m). Total duration: 7-8 hours
Day 13: Trek from Ghopte to Kutumsang (2480 m). Total duration: 7-8 hours
Day 14: Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (2225 m). Total duration: 7-8 hours
Day 15: Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal, Kathmandu( 1470 m). Total duration: 5-6 hours
Day 16: Explore Kathmandu valley
