Day 1: Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu

The 7-hour journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara offers the stunning views of central Nepal’s hills, canyons, rivers, and villages. In Pokhara, you’ll be surrounded by magnificent beauty while you will also be learning about the local culture. Hotel accommodation is available.

Day 2: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Hile

The early morning journey will take us to Nayapul, the start of our trip. After a short trek, we’ll cross a suspension bridge and follow the Modi River’s bank to Birethanti. The route then continues past the hamlet, following the north bank of the BhurungdiKhola. The route winds through a bamboo grove and past many streams and waterfalls.We will arrive at the village ofHile after some steady ascent and spend the night here.

Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani (2840 m)

We will hike to Ghorepani, a beautiful Gurung community in the Himalayas, after breakfast. We’ll cross many tiny rivers and keep up the stone steps until we reach Uleri. At Uleri, we will be greeted with breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Mt Machhapuchre. We’ll continue on our journey through the oak and rhododendron forest till we reach Ghorepani.

Day 4: Hike up Poon Hill to see the sunrise and then hike to Nayapul

We will summit Poon Hill at daybreak to see the stunning sunrise across the entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs and nearby rice terraces. The view from Poon Hill is often regarded as one of the best in the Himalayas.After that, we’ll head back to Ghorepani for breakfast. We’ll go back via the bamboo forest to Nayapul. Our van will be waiting for us at Nayapul to take us back to the lovely city of Pokhara.

Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu

It’s time to return to Kathmandu. Once again, you will be rewarded with stunning scenery along the route. Congratulations, you have conquered Poon Hill, and we can’t wait to see you again. This way the five days trek of the breathtaking Poon Hill ends.

Best time to do the Poon Hill Trek
